OurFolk! is an outgrowth of thelewisfamily.org project organized in 1996. This OurFolk! website not only includes the full functionality of thelewisfamily.org genealogy database, it also incorporates a number of specialized features and user benefits including an expanding family photo collection of digitally scanned images, a family matters section, and two way communications capabilities between our research volunteers and site visitors.

This site is maintained by Donell Lewis and contains research for family names Lewis, Williams, Holton, Thomley, McAlister, Yarrington, Farthing, Anderson, and almost 500 others that you’ll find by selecting the Surnames or Persons links located under the Database menu button on every page of OurFolk.org!

Under the Family Matters menu item you will find a section dedicated to Family Gatherings and Reunions. Full content for items listed in the section is restricted to OurFolk members, however, to assist others in learning about OurFolk and our family matters the Subject Lines for Gatherings and Reunions are visible to all visitors and to internet search engines.
